Getting excited!

I am starting to smell summer in the air! Jonathan's last day at work for the summer is just around the bend. Big cardboard buckets of watermelon greet me at the grocery store. Flip flops are on the racks in my favorite stores.

I am beginning to get excited about our trip to the beach with our cute 1 year old girl, shooting more weddings, and for the The Love Affair Workshop! www.loveaffairworkshop.com The 4 amazing hosts of the Love Affair Workshop know how challenging it can be to stay true to all the things we love-our family, photography, creativity, friends among other things. I am already feeling this challenge and I want to go to the workshop to learn from these photographers' experiences. All 4 of the hosts are amazing photographers and they will be teaching us all they know about photography. I want to be there soaking in all the information so I can become a better and better photographer. What a gift it is that I get to attend this workshop!

Feeling the love

Alison and Blaire came in town this weekend. I always love when we get to spend time together. Jonathan made us a nice breakfast spread including his banana pancakes which was quite a treat. (Call us if you ever want to spend a yummy Saturday morning at our house!) I am thankful for good friendships, good pancakes and cool 16-month-olds.

My sweet husband

While I was gone for the weekend Jonathan created this awesome office space for me! He picked out and bought the desk, chair, and printer without me knowing. It was such a fun surprise to come home to! He also sent me on my way to get a pedicure at the local Nail Stop. Now my toes are pretty and I have an awesome workspace. Thanks to Jonathan for always cheering me on!

Cousins

What a fun idea this mom had to get these cousins together for some fun spring pictures! We had a fun time in this beautiful lawn in Decatur.

Three 3 year olds

I ran into my triplet 3 year old friends at the park just a few days before our session together. I loved this shot of their "everyday" look. Aren't they awesome?!
