A Nashville Wedding

Jonathan and I had a fun road trip to Nashville a few weekends ago so I could shoot Sarah and Ryon's wedding. It was an honor to be able to document their day. The whole wedding had so much character from the old church in East Nashville, to the vibrant flowers, to the unique venue downtown. Here are some shots to give you a glimpse of their day. (I have daydreamed about those cupcakes a few times. Yes, they were as amazing tasting as they look!!!)

Shout out

Here are the faces of some beautiful, wonderful people in my life! We have loved each other since highschool. I have more memories I can count with these girls.

A really great part of my job that I love is connecting with new families. I so enjoyed my time meeting and hanging out with these new parents. They were so easy going and fun and I loved watching them beam as they looked at their baby girl. I remember what a sweet time it was in the first weeks of Morgan's life when I just sat around and looked at her in awe and wonder everyday, all day. It makes me so happy to be able to document sweet seasons in families lives like this one. Oh...and did we talk about how beautiful this 3 week old is?!

I had the honor of capturing some sweet moments of Lily with all the sweet wonderful women in her family that love her so much. It was a beautiful thing to see Lily reaching out to touch her great grandmother's face and smiling so big. I can imagine how treasured these images will be to them for years to come. What a great idea Lauren had to get some images of all 4 generations.

Today I baked cookies with my daughter for the first time. The memory will be a special one in my mind. She was so sweet and helpful and she really seemed to enjoy the whole process. I look forward to many more cookie baking afternoons with my sweet daughter!

After loving the ways the photos turned out it gave me the idea that I would love to photograph other families doing things they love and that are special memories for them. I will cherish these photographs forever.
