Baby Love

It is such a joy for me to go to families homes to photograph their newborn babies. What a gift to be able to "enter into" this sweet time. Thank you all for having me in your home and for allowing me to photograph your babies!

Congratulations Matt and Laura! We had such fun weekend celebrating with our friends in Hilton Head last weekend. What a beautiful wedding it was!

Getting excited!

I am starting to smell summer in the air! Jonathan's last day at work for the summer is just around the bend. Big cardboard buckets of watermelon greet me at the grocery store. Flip flops are on the racks in my favorite stores.

I am beginning to get excited about our trip to the beach with our cute 1 year old girl, shooting more weddings, and for the The Love Affair Workshop! www.loveaffairworkshop.com The 4 amazing hosts of the Love Affair Workshop know how challenging it can be to stay true to all the things we love-our family, photography, creativity, friends among other things. I am already feeling this challenge and I want to go to the workshop to learn from these photographers' experiences. All 4 of the hosts are amazing photographers and they will be teaching us all they know about photography. I want to be there soaking in all the information so I can become a better and better photographer. What a gift it is that I get to attend this workshop!

Feeling the love

Alison and Blaire came in town this weekend. I always love when we get to spend time together. Jonathan made us a nice breakfast spread including his banana pancakes which was quite a treat. (Call us if you ever want to spend a yummy Saturday morning at our house!) I am thankful for good friendships, good pancakes and cool 16-month-olds.
